Rules
- Home venue rounds: compete against other registered players at your home room. Best of three. A room champion must be established before anyone advances.
- Away games: home venue champions are matched against champions from other venues. You receive your opponent’s nickname and their room address—nothing more.
- Final bracket: the top 26 players are seeded into a city-wide bracket. The championship takes place at the participating venue that sent the most finalists.
- All player communications use nicknames only. Your legal name and contact information are never shared with other players.
- Each matchup must be completed within seven days of assignment. Both players coordinate directly — reply to your notification to confirm availability.
- If a game cannot be played, it may be rescheduled once. If it still does not happen, the absent player forfeits.
- The city-wide bracket is double-elimination — you must lose twice before you're out. Every player is guaranteed at least two matches.
- Winners bracket: lose once and you drop to the losers bracket, not out. Losers bracket: lose again from here and you're eliminated.
- Grand final: the winners bracket champion meets the losers bracket champion. If the losers bracket player wins, a deciding match is played.
